India in FTA talks with US, EU & others: Piyush Goyal

India is actively negotiating free trade agreements with the US, EU, New Zealand, Oman, Peru, and Chile, alongside existing pacts with the UAE, Australia, and EFTA. Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized lowering trade barriers and fostering transparency to encourage two-way investments during volatile global times. The government has also significantly reduced compliances and abolished laws to promote ease of doing business.
